Why Addiko Bank Beograd is a true partner to employees? Psychological counseling, yoga classes, home office educations, psychological resilience...

The Employer Partner Certificate, a prestigious recognition for excellence in human resource management, was once again awarded to Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd. In the 15 years of the Certificate’s existence, more than 120 companies have gone through the certification process in 10 European markets. Only those organizations that achieve at least 75% of total points and 70% in each of the areas can acquire the title of “Employer Partner”.

As the only bank in Serbia with the status of “Employer Partner”, Addiko bank is the holder of the Certificate since 2019. The certification team again highly rated all assessed areas – strategy, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. The Bank stood out with its transparent remuneration system, which was further improved in the past year, as well as well-managed recruitment and selection processes. The company also has well-developed talent management processes, so education and knowledge transfer are actively encouraged.

The focus of the company through 2020 and 2021 was increased concern for the health and well-being of employees, as well as conducting socially responsible activities and giving back to the community. Free individual psychological counseling sessions, online yoga classes, home office educations, psychological resilience, and breathing techniques are just some of the benefits introduced for employees in order to provide psychological support and work-life balance during the crisis.

In order for Addiko Bank to give back to the community, they have started an action of collecting clothes and cosmetics for children without parental care. For the company’s 5th birthday, the employees received bags as a gift, which were painted by people with disabilities within the humanitarian organization “Children’s Heart”. In addition, in November 2021, employees will plant 500 seedlings throughout Serbia in order to afforest and promote environmental awareness.

Addiko Bank promotes equal opportunities and gender equality policies through various policies and procedures, as well as by joining the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles initiative. Cooperation with the Youth Forum for People with Disabilities (FMI) has also been initiated in order to include people with disabilities in working in the bank through internships or employment.

It is an exceptional honor that our company is the holder of the Employer Partner certificate again after 2019. In 2020, we replaced the usual certification process with certification for excellence during the challenges posed by the global pandemic. Together with our employees, we strive to build an innovative, motivated, and different bank – a bank of atypical bankers. This recognition is a confirmation that we are on the right track “, said Marija Mijatović, Director of Human Resources and Organization Department.
