Our client, an international renewable energy company headquartered in Germany, is looking for a person that will lead their business operations in Croatia in the position of:
Managing Director (m/f/d)
Location: Dalmatia/hybrid
Managing Director will be responsible to run the local business, execute day to day operations and service activities, develop opportunities, implement strategies, plans and achieve the targeted objectives for the company. The focus is to ensure stability and development of the business in Croatia
Main responsibilities:
- Core responsibility for technical and commercial operations management in Croatia, meeting/exceeding forecasts and targeted goals for the assigned region
- Manage, steer, inspire and develop the Croatian team
- Manage customers and lead negotiations on service agreements
- Manage customer communications in a professional and efficient manner throughout the whole process, including reporting and data analysis associated with performance tracking
- Design and implement unique sales propositions (USP) and business development strategies
- Develop quotes for identified project opportunities or RFQ’s related to assigned market segment sales (customer account management)
- Work with the German business development and operations team and represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences and customer meetings
- Travel to customer meetings and project sites
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Service and/or Sales Management, Business Development or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar industry is an advantage
- Ability to develop a customer segment and market region
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- IT proficiency
- Proficiency in English, German or another language is an advantage
